Cult classic Japanese game show ‘Takeshi’s Castle’ is all set to return to Prime Video with famous YouTuber and actor Bhuvan Bam lending his voice for narration.
‘Takeshi’s Castle’ aired in Japan between 1986 and 1990 and featured Japanese comedian Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and sets up difficult physical challenges for players (or a volunteer army) to get to him.
The show became highly popular around the world and influenced in the making of various game shows globally. It was once revived in 2005 and has now again been revived by Amazon Prime Video in April 2023 for eight episodes.
In India this revised version will have narration by Bhuvan Bam and will premiere soon only on Amazon Prime Video.
