Tamannaah Bhatia’s upcoming film ‘Odela 2’s’ teaser was launched today in Prayagraj during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela. A supernatural thriller drama, ‘Odela 2’ is touted to be a franchise film the successful Odela Railway Station created by Sampath Nandi.
‘Odela 2’ teaser is all about the devil filling up his pot of bad deeds with cruelty and evilness and this the divine has emerged to destroy him. The teaser is powerful with glimpses of Tamannaah as a Sadhvi who dons the role quite well in fact making an impactful screen presence but nowhere dominating it. Vasishta N. Sinha as the villain and other characters from the film too appear in the teaser.
The fact that the makers have stuck to the theme of ‘Odela 2’ and presented the teaser to portray just that is noteworthy. No one character overpowers and it looks perfectly balanced with well supporting and rousing background music from B. Ajanessh Loknath. Overall, it’s a well cut teaser with elements that enthrall and intrigue.
Sampath Nandi has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for ‘Odela 2’ alongside providing direction supervision. The film is directed by Ashok Teja and stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal and Pooja Reddy among others. Soundar Rajan. S serves as the cinematographer for the film.
‘Odela 2’ is produced by D. Madhu under the banner Madhu Creations in association with Sampath Nandi Teamworks. The makers are yet to reveal the release date for ‘Odela 2’ which will have a nationwide release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
