Tamil film ‘Iraivan’ releases in theatres tomorrow. The film has been generating a lot of buzz, owing to its attractive cast and premise. ‘Iraivan’ is a psychological thriller movie, centred on the hunt for a psycho serial killer who has carried out a slew of gruesome murders in the city. Jayam Ravi plays a cop on the trail of the serial killer.
With buzz around ‘Iraivan’ reaching a frenzy, it’s perhaps the right time to reveal details of the ‘Iraivan’ streaming rights, and the platform that has managed to grab them right from under the nose of rival streaming platforms in India. Readers will be happy to know that streaming giant Netflix has grabbed the streaming rights for ‘Iraivan’.
The movie should premiere on Netflix around the end of October or the first half of November. Of course, it also depends on how well or how badly Iraivan performs at the box office.
Iraivan is written and directed by I. Ahmed. The film boasts an exciting cast of Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara in the lead roles, and Rahul Bose playing the antagonist, ‘Smiley Killer’ Brahma. Ashish Vidyarthi, Narain, Charle, Vinoth Kishan, Vijayalakshmi, Azhagam Perumal and Bagavathi Perumal form the rest of the cast. The music for Iraivan is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
