Tamil film ‘Laththi’ premiered in theatres in India on 22nd December 2022, as a Christmas release. The film received appreciation from audiences and critics for its soundtrack, performances and action sequences. It was, however, panned for its predictable storyline. Laththi did average business at the box office.
The Vishal starrer is now all set to release on streaming, for the benefit of digital viewers who missed watching the movie in the theatres. The Tamil action thriller will arrive on Sun NXT as a Pongal treat for viewers, premiering on 14th January on Sun NXT.
Laththi stars Vishal in the role of a police constable, who is trapped inside a building and surrounded by the enemy. With him is his 10-year-old kid, and he must find a way to escape the situation and save their lives.
Laththi, the Tamil-language action thriller film, is written and directed by A. Vinoth Kumar in his directorial debut. It is produced by Ramana and Nandha Durairaj of Rana Productions. The film stars Vishal, Sunaina and Prabhu in pivotal roles. The film’s musical score is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
