T-Series has launched the trailer of Tara Vs Bilal, starring Harshvardhan Rane as Bilal and Sonia Rathee as Tara. The film’s events take place in London. Bilal tries to convince Tara to enter a fake marriage with him as he enjoys troubling his family. But things get complicated after they start falling in love with each other.
Rane commenced his journey in cinema with a Telugu film, Thakita Thakita (2010). After starring in multiple Telugu movies, he made his Hindi film debut with Sanam Teri Sanam (2016) opposite Mawra Hocane. The film performed decently in terms of collections. But its highly positive critical and audience reception made it a cult classic. The actor last appeared in Netflix’s Haseen Dillruba alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey.
John Abraham has co-produced the film with T-Series. He shared the film’s trailer on Twitter with the caption: “John Abraham @TheJohnAbraham 2h Tara v/s Bilal, a story of true unexpected love! Rane expressed his happiness and thanked the producers for giving him the job in a recent statement, “After my debut film, people on social media have been requesting film-makers to cast me in a romantic film again, I am so grateful to Bhushan sir and John Sir for giving the audience a film full of sweet romance after a long long time.”
Apart from the leading duo, the cast consists of Mona Ambegaonkar, Niki Walia, Shagufta Ali, Deepika Amin, Raheem Mir, Pranay Manchanda, and many more.
Helmed by Samar Iqbal, Tara Vs Bilal is jointly produced by John Abraham, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. The film will hit the theatres on October 28. Stay tuned for more updates.
