Regional Telugu Exclusive OTT Platform, Aha Video has been dubbing the hit films of other languages to Telugu to make available interesting content to its subscribers every week. The latest film in the slate of its dubbing releases is Bell Bottom – a Kannada film of 2019 on the same name. The teaser of the film is released a short while ago.
Bell Bottom seems to be a period film. The hero is introduced with the buildup as if a Sherlock Holmes Story. The background score in the buildup scenes worked big time. At one place, the Detective is referred to as Defective and towards the end of the teaser, he is called L Board and was shown as a Police constable. That indicates it is the story of a simple constable who turns into an ambitious detective.
The story and the comedy premise look promising and relatively novel for the Telugu audience. Except for Agent Sai Sreenivas Athreya in 2019, it’s been a long time since the Telugu audience watched a comical detective story. The only catch may be the nativity issues with all Kannada cast and locations but in OTT, you can not really complain about it.
Bell Bottom starring Rishab Shetty and Hari Priya is going to be premiered on Aha Video on December 11th.
