Malayalam blockbuster film ‘Manjummel Boys‘ refuses to stop its box office rampage any time soon. The film is still running to almost full houses in cinema after cinema in India and overseas, even more than four weeks after its initial release in the theaters. Most of it comes on the back of its delayed release in other languages of the country.
The Malayalam film has enthralled audiences in Tamil Nadu theatres with the Tamil dubbed version of Manjummel Boys. After shattering records in its home state of Kerala, the film has reportedly mopped up more than ₹50 crores at the Tamil Nadu box office.
And now, we have confirmed news that three Telugu biggies are coming together to release ‘Manjummel Boys’ in the Telugu dubbed version in theatres across India and worldwide. Telugu heavyweight producers Mythri Movie Makers, HanuMan makers Primeshow Entertainment and noted Telugu filmmaker Sukumar have joined hands to release Manjummel Boys in Telugu. The release date for Telugu version of Manjummel Boys is set for 5th April, 2024, which is next Friday.
Manjummel Boys has turned out to be the surprise hit of the year for Indian cinema at large and Malayalam cinema in particular. The film has shattered record after record since its release, and is now the highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time, surpassing the record set by 2018 movie. The survival thriller is written and directed by Chidambaram and produced by Parava Films.
Manjummel Boys boasts an ensemble cast of Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr., Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, Shebin Benson, and Vishnu Reghu.
