The Telugu comedy film ‘Pareshan’ had its theatrical release today. And its digital streaming rights are already bagged by SonyLIV. The film is written and directed by Rupak Ronaldson and is produced by Siddharth Rallapalli under the banner of Waltair Productions. It has a cast of actors like Thiruveer, Pavani Karanam, Bunny Abhiran, Sai Prasanna, Arjun Krishna and many others. Thiruveer is known for films like Masooda and this is the debut film for Pavani Karanam, the female lead.
Pareshan is presented by Rana Daggubati. It is a film set in rural Telangana and tells a story where every character is in some pressure. It has some jobless youngsters in the area of Singareni who are tackling many problems. Isaac, one of the alcoholic friends, lends money to two of them. He is in love with Sirisha and has sexual intercourse with her. Sirisha doubts that she is pregnant and now Isaac has to collect some money for the abortion. He asks for money from the two friends but they do not repay him and the story goes on.
‘Pareshan’ is a fun ride and it is getting quite a good response from the audiences. If you like films that are rooted deeply into rural culture, Pareshan might be a good watch for you. The cinematography of the film is handled by Vasu Pendem and the music is composed by Yashwanth Nag. The film runs for two hours and fifteen minutes and though it has a somewhat slow second half it can work for a one time watch.
