Telugu mystery crime thriller drama ‘Theppa Samudram’ Is done with it a theatrical release and is now set for it world digital premiere on Aha Video. Helmed by Sateesh Rapolu, ‘Theppa Samudram’ will premiere on Aha Video on 3rd August, 2024.
‘Theppa Samudram’ is set in a village in Telangana where a psycho criminal is on the loose and he is targeting young schoolgirls who have are going missing one by one. The newly appointed sub inspector Ganesh (Chaitanya Rao) is determined to solve the case and his investigation proceeds and he delves deeper into the mysterious crime. He suspects everyone whether it’s the auto driver Vijay (Arjun Ambati), crime reporter Indu (Kishori Dhatrak) or his own father, lawyer Vishwanath (Ravi Shankar).
Directed and written by newcomer Sateesh Rapolu, ‘Theppa Samudram’ received mixed reviews upon its release with some praising the engaging screenplay that could have been elevated by better performances. Though the film’s attempt to create thrill and mystery works in some parts, it does not maintain it throughout.
