Telugu film ‘Das Ka Dhamki‘ released in theatres on 22nd March, 2023. The action thriller film received mixed reviews from audiences and critics, and did average business at the box office. For those of you who missed watching the film in the theatres, ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ is now gearing up for its streaming release. The ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ OTT release date is 14th April. The film will release on exclusive Telugu OTT platform, Aha Video.
Interestingly, ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ will premiere on OTT after only a theatrical window of 23 days, as against the standard 28 days theatrical window for films from the South. The film is still playing in select theatres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
‘Das Ka Dhamki’ stars Vishwak Sen in a dual role. He plays a lower middle class guy, Krishna Das, and his doppelgänger, Dr Sanjay Rudra, the big shot owner of a pharma company. Krishna Das wants to get rich quick, in order to impress the love of his life, Keerthi (Nivetha Pethuraj). But he gets caught up in a dangerous conspiracy instead.
The film is written and directed by Vishwak Sen. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada is the co-writer of the film. The film is produced by Karate Raju, Vishwak Sen’s father, under the film production banners of Vanmaye Creations and Vishwaksen Cinemas. Besides Vishwak Sen and Nivetha Pethuraj, ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ stars Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Akshara Gowda, Hyper Aadhi, Mahesh Achanta, and Tharun Bhascker in pivotal roles.
