Taapsee Pannu’s Telugu film ‘Mishan Impossible‘ released in cinemas on April 1. Now, the film has set its OTT release date, exactly four weeks after its theatrical release. The four-week exclusive theatrical window for Mishan Impossible is quite good, considering that it didn’t exactly set the cash registers ringing at the box office. ‘Mishan Impossible’ OTT release date is 29th April, and the film will premiere on Netflix.
Mishan Impossible is as a crime and comedy drama, and marks the return of Taapsee Pannu to Telugu cinema. Three teenaged actors, Harsh Roshan, Bhanu Prakash and Jayateertha Molugu, star alongside Taapsee in Mishan Impossible. Interestingly, the three boys, with character names Raghupathi, Raghava and Rajaram, call themselves RRR in the film. They dream of capturing notorious don Dawood Ibrahim, and winning the cash reward for his capture. Taapsee Pannu plays an investigative journalist in the film, who aims to bust a child-trafficking racket. The boys and the journalist find allies in each other, and the story moves into darker territory.
Mishan Impossible may have suffered at the box office due to the overwhelming magic of RRR. But the film is a heartwarming watch, studded with sparkling humour. Mishan Impossible is directed by Swaroop RSJ, who’s previously helmed Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya.
