Telugu horror movie ‘Pindam’ has been touted as the scariest movie ever. However, the film received mixed to average reviews when it released in theatres on 15th December 2023. Critics praised the performances in the movie, as well as the social message it conveys. Most, however, panned the trope-ridden plot, lack of scary moments and the predictable narrative of Pindam.

Horror film ‘Pindam’ follows a family and their encounter with a powerful supernatural force when they shift into a new home. The powerful spirit starts to threaten the life of the 6-year-old baby girl of the family who is suffering from a speech impairment. A demonologist is called in to rescue the family and find out the spirit’s real intention.
Pindam stars Srikanth Sriram, Kushee Ravi, Eswari Rao, Srinivas Avasarala, Ravi Varma, Manik Reddy, Baby Chaitra, Baby Leisha, Vijayalakshmi, Srilatha, among others, in key roles. The film is written and directed by Sai Kiran Daida.
