Science Fiction is one of the most celebrated genres of the film industry globally. Christopher Nolan films, Stanley Kubrick movies, The Matrix franchise and many other Hollywood films are globally appreciated for the kind of brilliance they have in their content. Our very own Bollywood also attempted to make a science fiction film very recently. It is called “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya”. It is a fun and exciting movie that mixes romance, comedy, and science fiction.
The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon and is directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
The story follows Aryan Agnihotri, played by Shahid Kapoor, who is a robotics engineer. He falls in love with SIFRA, a robot that looks and acts like a human, without knowing she’s not real. Aryan’s journey takes him from India to the USA, where he meets SIFRA, and their love story begins. But things get complicated when Aryan finds out the truth about SIFRA.
We Indians love to see people fall in love. Perhaps that is the reason we showed a man and a robot having a fun affair.
Apart from the lead, the cast includes veteran actors like Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia. “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” is no masterpiece but it is a fun thing to watch for one time.
