‘Tetris’ Star Taron Egerton Gives An Update About ‘Kingsman 3’

It seems like Taron Egerton has not forgotten his roots despite being an Oscar-nominated actor. He gained worldwide recognition after playing Gary “Eggsy” Unwin in Matthew Vaughn’s ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’. Then, the cockney rebellious chav-turned-secret agent returned in the sequel, The Golden Circle. Now, the actor has given an exciting update about Kingsman 3.

While speaking with one of Collider’s personnel during the press tour for Tetris (Apple TV+), Egerton confirmed he wanted to give another shot at Eggsy. Additionally, he disclosed that he had some ideas about Kingsman 3’s plot. This is what he said:

“I have an idea for Kingsman. I have my own idea that I would like to pitch to Matthew, and I think that will be happening soon, but he has the wheels in motion on a big idea of his own. So who knows, you know? Who knows where it will land?”

Egerton further revealed that the threequel would test Eggsy and Harry’s relationship. The latter character has endured a lot in the spy-action franchise. He died, came back to life, lost his memories, and then received a cure for his amnesia from Eggsy.

The prequel, The King’s Man, was dropped in theatres in 2021. Despite underperforming at the global box office, Vaughn wants to explore that part of the universe too.

More updates about Kingsman 3 will surface soon. As for Taron Egerton’s Tetris, it will release on Apple TV+ on March 31. Stay tuned for more updates.
