The 67th film of Tamil superstar Vijay with noted filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj has been officially announced now. The name of the film is not decided yet and its working title is Thalapathy 67. It will be produced under the banner of Pen Studios. It will be the second partnership of Vijay with the director after his film ‘Master’. Composer Aniruddh will be composing the music for the film.
There were many rumours about Vijay being the next big star who will be joining the very ambitious cinematic universe of Lokesh Kanagaraj after films like Kaithi and Vikram. The universe already has stars like Karthi, Kamal Hassan, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Fans were excited for any news regarding the next film of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe for long.
Reportedly a promo video of the film will be released next month and there will be actors like Sanjay Dutt and joining Vijay in the film, there are rumors that Kamal Hassan will also have a cameo in Thalapathy 67. With this film, Vijay has all chances of having the next big pan-Indian hit. After the huge success of ‘Vikram’ it can be easily predicted that ‘Thalapathy 67’ too will have a massy appeal and will be loved by audiences all over India.
There are chances that it will be the third film of the universe that Lokesh Kanagaraj is creating. The first one being the massive one night story of ‘Kaithi’ and the second being ‘Vikram’, the comeback film of Kamal Hassan. Lokesh Kanagaraj is great at delivering up to the expectations of fans and also l surprising his fans with something unexpected. The cameo of Suriya in Vikram was something unexpected, there can be something like that in this film as well.
