The trailer of the much-awaited Netflix film Thar is out now. A few days back we told you about the release date of the big-budget project which due to mysterious reasons, Netflix announced in a stealth mode.
Regardless, the trailer however was launched with a bang with multiple promotions.
This crime thriller is written and directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary and stars the dynamic father-son duo of Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor. Apart from them, the film also stars Dangal fame Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mukti Mohan and Jitendra Joshi.
The trailer thankfully doesn’t reveal much about the story. It is about a young man who comes to the Thar Desert for doing a business in antique products while gruesome murders are going on.
A police officer played by Anil Kapoor tries to unravel the mystery with multiple suspects at hand. Quite obviously, the trailer is promising and doesn’t look like a regular crime thriller.
The background score is a steal from the trailer which further elevates the gory theme of the film.
The film is definitely the biggest venture Netflix India has ever taken in any original film. The trailer is good enough and it might just do magic in terms of views. All it needs to have is great content within itself.
Regardless, the film drops on Netflix India on 6th May.
