The Accountant 2 Cast Conforms The Return Of Ben Affleck, Bernthal, and Simmons

Amazon MGM, along with Artists Equity, is investing heavily in the second film from “The Accountant” franchise, and amidst the flying rumors, the makers have made up their minds about some returning members.

Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, J.K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson will be returning for the second installment. Affleck and Simmons previously embodied the roles in the original installment and will have one more run with Wolff and Ray King.

Gavin O’Connor will also make his comeback as a director, and Bill Dubuque will again pen the upcoming project.

The project is looking exciting, especially if you look at the previous collaboration between Affleck and Damon’s own Artists Equity and Amazon MGM Studios. Prior to this, “Air” became a global sensation, especially in award shows, and the saga continues in upcoming projects such as “Unstoppable” and “The Accountant 2.”

Talking about the previous run, “The Accountant” managed to gross $155 million at the box office and later shattered some records regarding the most-rented digital film of the year 2016.

Regarding the plot, “The Accountant” follows Christian Wolff, a math savant with high-functioning autism. Wolff works as a forensic accountant for dangerous criminal organizations, uncooking their books.

As he takes on a legitimate client, discrepancies emerge, leading to deadly consequences. Wolff must use his unique skills to unravel the mystery while being pursued by both law enforcement and ruthless assassins.
