The Adam Project Helmer Shawn Levy Wishes To Make A Marvel Movie

Free Guy director Shawn Levy has expressed his desire to helm a Marvel or a Star Wars project in future. The Canadian helmer recently gave an interview to Screen Rant as part of the promotion of his upcoming Netflix directional, The Adam Project. He uttered his love towards both Marvel and Star Wars franchises in his interview.

“I certainly find both the Star Wars and Marvel universes compelling,” the director said. “It would have to be the right moment, the right story, but those would definitely be tantalizing opportunities. Other than that, I have to say I really want to keep making movies that refuse to be only one thing, that are a hybrid of heart and laughter and spectacle, because those are my favorite kinds of movies. They don’t get made that often anymore and I feel really lucky that I’ve been able to make two in a row that are also original. And I don’t ever take that for granted either.”

Levy entered the world of Hollywood by helming Address Unknown (1997). And after giving 25 years of his life to the movie direction job, he has blockbuster hits like Night at the Museum series, Date Night, Real Steel, and Free Guy in his amazing filmography. All the above-mentioned things make him a perfect candidate to helm a future Marvel movie. Plus, his last collaboration with Ryan Reynolds, Free Guy, worked like a charm on the global box office. And the fans expect the same from his next Netflix project.

Shawn Levy’s forthcoming Netflix release, The Adam Project, treasures the on-screen Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds, as the leading man. Apart from Reynolds, we will see Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Walker Scobell, Zoe Saldana, and Catherine Keener in the movie. It will dispatch on March 11 via the streaming service.
