Okay, this is a drama and a half.
Today was supposed to be the day, The Bear Season 4, FX’s high-anxiety “comedy” (yes, we’re still putting that in quotes), was finally dropping. Fans were hyped. Some even took the day off work to binge. The mood was set: snacks ready, do-not-disturb mode on, emotional damage expected.
But what did they get?
A no-show.
Turns out, the new season is technically releasing today… but only at 8PM U.S. time.
Which means, if you’re in India? You’ll be watching it tomorrow morning, at 5:30 AM, to be precise.
Yep. That’s right. Cancel your morning walk. Postpone that gym session. The Bear is showing up, fashionably late.
Fans in the U.S. were already frustrated, expecting an early morning drop like most streaming shows. But FX and Hulu decided to serve it hot only in the evening.
Now, it’s not the end of the world, sure. But when a show builds this much loyalty and anticipation, timing matters. People move around schedules, take leaves, prep watch parties. The least platforms can do is meet them halfway.
Anyway, the table’s set. The chef’s late. But let’s hope when The Bear finally lands, it’s worth every minute of this weirdly timed wait.
