Good news folks! The cranky baby with a bossy attitude finally has a date to unleash his nuisance on people. Yes, you head it right. The second installment of The Boss Baby finally has a release date.
Earlier yesterday Universal Pictures took to their social media and shared the news that The Boss Baby: Family Business will go live in theatres on 2nd of July, 2021. The film will also stream on Peacock premium on the same day for 60 days.
As we all know now, Ted and Tim are coming back in the second installment along with a new boss baby Tina who is Tim’s infant daughter and Ted’s youngest niece, and an executive at BabyCorp. Things go haywire when Tina reveals that she is a top-secret agent for BabyCorp and on a mission to uncover the dark secrets behind Tim’s eldest daughter Tabitha’s school and its mysterious founder, Dr. Erwin Armstrong.
Just like the first installment of The Boss Baby, Alec Baldwin will reprise the role of Ted, the first boss baby while James Marsden will replace Tobey Maguire as Ted’s elder brother Tim. Amy Sedaris will portray Tina alongwith Ariana Greenblatt, Eva Longoria, Jimmy Kimmel and Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Erwin Armstrong. The Boss Baby: Family Business will be directed by Tom McGrath in association with DreamWorks Animation, and the film will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
The first installment of The Boss Baby was an extremely critical and financial success and that makes the second one more interesting and much awaited. The film was originally aimed for release on 26th March, 2021, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
