KoThree much-anticipated movies are soon expected to be released in theatres which is expected for this month. ‘Ajayante Randaam Moshanam’, ‘Kondal’, and ‘Bad Boyz’ are the announced projects with the view of entertaining the viewers. The similarity in these movies is that all three of them belong to the ‘mass-action’ genre and the primary objective of this initiative will be nothing but the box office. However, the world-building may differ.
‘Ajayante Randaam Moshanam’ or A.R.M (Eng. Ajayan’s second theft) is set up to be a period mass-action drama starring Tovino Thomas, who plays the titular character of the effort and plays triple roles simultaneously. Such that he is the unique selling point for the film. The movie will be released in multiple regional languages and storytelling will be constructed in such a way that it would satisfy all kinds of audiences. The movie is directed by Jithin Laal and produced by Listin Stephen and Zacharia Thomas for Magic Frames and UGM Entertainment Productions. The movie also features Kriti Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, Basil Joseph, Surabhi Lakshmi, Harish Uthaman, Rohini, Babu Antony, and Aju Varghese in supporting roles respectively.
‘Kondal’ (Eng. Rain cloud) is a mass-action thriller that features Antony Varghese Pepe as the main lead who wears the character named Manual, who is involved in a conflict where he works as a harbourer. This narrative can be character-based in nature and would be able to witness gore, gritty, and raw stunt sequences that support the emotion of a fight. The other important characters include actors Gouthami Nair, Raj.B. Shetty, Muhammed Shabeer, and Manikandan Achari respectively. The flick is directed by Ajit Mampally and produced by Sophia Paul for Weekend Blockbusters. The main lead and producer had joined hands previously on a martial arts action piece named ‘R.D.X’.
‘Bad Boyz’ is a comedy mass-action entertainer which features actor Rahman in the lead role who comes up as a town henchman along with his friends or probably a gang. The element of watchable trait may only include well-executed fight scenes and not more than that. Unlike the first two mentioned, this might be limited to a regional movie but it has a chance to propagate to other south Indian languages. This movie is directed by Omar Lulu and produced by Abraham Mathew for Abaam Movies. Other actors include Babu Antony, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Bibin George, Anson Paul, and Sheelu Abraham respectively.
After the release of teaser and trailer for the movies, audience are excited and awaiting for the movies to celebrate the moment. Tremendous responses are seen for the first two movies and mediocre but hopeful response to that of the third one.
