The Crow Reboot First Look Shows Bill Skarsgard As The Gothic Avenger

The first look images from Bill Skarsgard’s upcoming supernatural superhero flick, The Crow, have surfaced, thanks to Vanity Fair. The film will serve as the reboot of the 1994 film of the same name, which had the late Brandon Lee as the popular gothic avenger.

The Crow will follow talented rock musician, Eric Draven (played by Skarsgard), and his fiancee, Shelly Webster. Both of them get brutally murdered on Halloween Eve by a deadly crime gang. Eric comes back from the dead to seek vengeance for the deaths of himself and his fiancee. FKA Twigs will play Shelly in the forthcoming reboot project.

In addition to Skarsgard and Twigs, the reboot’s cast features Danny Huston, Jordan Bolger, Laura Birn, and Sami Bouajila.

Vanity Fair has dropped some intriguing first-look images from the forthcoming The Crow remake. In one of Twitter’s (X) posts, we can witness the romance between Draven and Shelly. The second one shows Bill Skarsgard’s Eric Draven embracing the persona of The Crow, donning a black jacket with dark eye makeup. Here are the images!

Rupert Sanders has directed the upcoming reboot. He is best known for his directional work on Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) and Ghost in the Shell (2017). In addition, he has helmed the pilot episode of Foundation, a popular Apple TV+ series.

Based on James O’Barr’s The Crow, the remake will arrive in theatres worldwide on June 7, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
