The Fame Game was released on Netflix on February 25. Unfortunately, it was not greeted by many positive reviews. Still, the series is soaring high on Netflix. Even after 10 days of release, the series is trending at Number 1 giving bigger proof of Madhuri’s success on digital platforms.
The show was produced under Dharmatic Entertainment that handles the Ott content produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta. Even Gehraiyaan, another Karan Johar film received a polarising response from the audience but that had a little effect on the success of the film.
Such seems to be the case with The Fame Game where people are streaming it continuously. So much so that Venom: Let There Be Carnage is not finding any space to come on the top.
Regardless, there can be multiple factors behind the same. One of them has to be the Madhuri factor wherein she pulled the crowd and hooked them with her brilliant performance. Not so surprisingly, Madhuri received only positive responses from the critics and audience and that has to be the major factor behind the show’s success.
Also, it was a new show after more than a month of dryness on Netflix India. Thus the subscribers rushed to watch it.
Long story short, the show is a hit and is gaining immense viewership.
