Unlike Vikings: Valhalla, which targets a global audience, The Fame Game on the other hand was meant mostly for India. But, The Fame Game has definitely cut the views from the global giant.

Regardless, as expected, the Madhuri Dixit starrer show has emerged as the most-watched show on Netflix India. Only within two days for which the data is available, the show defied all odds to emerge as the clear winner.

Regardless, the show failed to achieve a lot of positive reviews from the critics but the audience is loving the show nonetheless. The most important reason the show is gaining appreciation and views has to be the brilliant performance by Madhuri Dixit.

She was extremely convincing in her role and perhaps that’s the sole reason the show became such a big hit. The scarcity of good Indian content on Netflix is definitely the obvious one.

But even if we look at the international charts then only we realise the damage it has done to Vikings: Valhalla.

The Vikings show could not compete against Inventing Anna and remained at the second position globally. Needless to say, this is the result of The Fame Game. Had it not been released then a lot of Indian viewers would stream Vikings: Valhalla and perhaps it would even surpass Inventing Anna to become the most-watched show last week.
