The Family Man – Trailer

After giving us a tease a few days back, Amazon Prime Video has now dropped the trailer of The Family Man. Starring, Manoj Bajpayee in the titular role, it is fun and intense in equal parts.

The teaser and other promo material have confirmed what is in store. We know The Family Man is a spy thriller with elements of family drama used as fun. With that in mind, the first thing that stands out and makes it all gripping is Manoj Bajpayee. He holds everything together with his sincere and interest act. He is the one who brings out the two aspects without making the whole thing look disjointed.

After Manoj Bajpayee, the rest of the cast looks superb in their parts. Priyamani as the housewife is lovely and the rest too look apt. There is not much of Sundeep Kishan. It could be a surprise in the series, or maybe he has just made a friendly appearance for the director duo of Raj and DK.

The premise gives a predictable vibe, and that’s where the casting and writing come to fore. The closing of the trailer is an excellent example of that aspect.

Check out the trailer below. The Raj & DK directed web series will stream from September 20th on Amazon Prime Video.
