The Fantastic Four Teaser Stuns With Massive Viewership

Despite the ongoing AI controversy, Marvel Studios has clearly found a summer blockbuster in the form of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, set to hit theatres worldwide on July 25. The hype for this movie is real, as evidenced by the teaser’s massive viewership.

After debuting on Tuesday, the teaser for First Steps amassed over 202 million views within the first 24 hours of its release across all platforms.

This marks the third-highest first-day viewership for a Marvel teaser or trailer, trailing only Deadpool & Wolverine (365 million) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (355 million). It also holds the record for the most-watched teaser of any non-sequel MCU project.

As of now, the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer remains the most-watched of all time. Whether The Fantastic Four teaser will surpass this record remains uncertain, but its first-day viewership is undeniably an impressive achievement.

Cast members Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Vanessa Kirby, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach recently visited the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Alabama to officially launch the movie’s teaser.

According to Disney, the trailer launch event in Alabama drew the highest viewership ever for a Marvel YouTube livestream. Additionally, the event became the number one trending video on YouTube.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps teases a 1960s retro-futuristic world and an impending threat from the planet-devouring cosmic entity Galactus (voiced by Ralph Ineson). Julia Garner will also appear in the film as the Shalla-Bal version of the Silver Surfer. Stay tuned for more updates.
