The Flash premiered at this year’s CinemaCon, with Warner Bros Pictures screening the film nearly two months before its worldwide release date, which is June 16.
Ezra Miller plays Barry Allen in the film. He also portrays a different version of the character from an alternate timeline. Ben Affleck returns with his original version of the Batman. However, Michael Keaton’s Caped Crusader belongs to an alternate universe. Sasha Calle stars as Supergirl, the first Latina actress to play the character. At last, we have Michael Shannon, who reprises his character of General Zod from Man of Steel (2013).
Viewers at CinemaCon have declared The Flash a winner for Warner Bros. The upcoming movie may turn the attention away from its leading man, Ezra Miller, whose last year’s controversies and multiple arrests made things complicated for the studio. In August 2022, the actor issued an apology and promised to receive help for “complex mental health issues”.
David Zaslav, WBD CEO, is also hailing the forthcoming Ezra Miller starrer as one of the best superhero movies ever. He has watched the film three times.
