The Foundation star Sandra Yi Sencindiver joins the cast of the Alien TV show. The timeline of this franchise has been confirmed. After the achievement of “Fargo and Legion” the idea of Noah Hawley, is actually coming to life.
Rumours have it that the movie will take place before Ridley Scott’s original Alien movie, the series is going to serve as a prequel that takes place on planet Earth before the events of the movie.
Now that Sandra Yi Sencindiver joined the cast it’s been confirmed that the timeline of the series will be set in the end of this century, a few years before Prometheus and about 30 years before the original Alien movie.
The Alien series is the franchise’s first project, which will take place on Earth, and will follow the emergence of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation and their attempts to create android life.
The Alien series will take place a few years before 2089, because at that time Prometheus begins, and about three whole decades before the original movie.
The series revolves around the character of Wendy who has a body of an adult and mind of a child, the series is now being filmed in Thailand and around late summer they will wrap the shoot, and we can expect a premier in 2025.
