The Gentlemen First Look: Guy Ritchie’s New Series Premieres In 2024

The first look images from Guy Ritchie’s upcoming show ‘The Gentlemen’ are out now. The show will be a loose adaptation of the movie of the same name directed by Ritchie himself.

The movie starred actors like Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan and many others. Those actors will not be returning in the series.

The movie told the story of an Oxford graduate who builds a huge marijuana Empire by himself and after a long time, tries to sell it off, planning his retirement from the business. This news creates a chaotic environment in the underworld, with plotting, conspiracy, bribery and blackmail. Everybody wants to snatch his Empire out of his hands. The series, however, will differ in some places. It tells the story of Eddie Horniman, who takes charge of his estranged family’s business, only to learn that it is a weed business.

In the series, Theo James will be playing the lead role. Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Giancarlo Esposito and Vinnie Jones will also be seen in important roles.

Guy Ritchie is a wonderful director with many wonderful films up his sleeves. He has directed the Sherlock Holmes movies, Aladin, King Arthur and more. Fams are excited with what he comes up with this time. The first look images are sassy and stylish and it looks like it will be a good adaptation of the wonderful movie. The actors look convincing too and the color grading is impressive.

Exact release dates for ‘The Gentlemen’ haven’t been revealed yet. But it will be coming out earlier next year. Netflix is co-producing the show with Moonage Pictures and Miramax TV.
