There is now a trailer for Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film The Goat Life. The film narrates the true story of Najeeb, a young man who leaves Kerala in the early 1990s to try his luck overseas and is based on Benyamin’s critically acclaimed novel Aadujeevitham. Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Talib al Balushi are among the other actors who feature in the Malayalam movie. Under Blessy’s direction, the film also includes sound design by Resul Pookkutty, a fellow Oscar winner, and music by AR Rahman.
A run-through of Najeeb’s physical and mental struggles on his epic journey is provided in the trailer. Impressive is Sukumaran’s metamorphosis as Najeeb gains survival skills in the desert. While Najeeb’s journey runs as the main plot point, the trailer also includes flashbacks that explain how he got into the situation he is in now.
Speaking candidly about the movie, Sukumaran stated a statement saying “It’s been a long trip and not an easy one the audience gets to experience the fruit of our hard work and turmoil after a decade-long wait.” The adventure of “The Goat Life,” from Covid Days to the present, has been surprising and unforgettable.
The Goat Life is reportedly one of the most eagerly awaited movies on BookMyShow. Outpacing impending national releases in India like Kalki, Devara, and Indian 2, the movie has attracted more than 129,000 enthusiastic spectators who are excited about its premiere. On March 28, The Goat Life—which is being marketed as a pan-Indian movie—will be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
