We all know that The Gray Man is now streaming on Netflix. The highly anticipated film is the biggest movie that Netflix has ever made. Needless to say, the expectations from such a film always hike up and they are supposed to establish new records.
Unfortunately, so is not the case with The Gray Man. It’s been so many months so let us remind you that Red Notice received the biggest opening ever on Netflix and their record remains unbroken to date.
Not only is Red Notice the most watched English film on the platform, but it also received an opening of 99 Million streaming hours.
Let us tell you that The Gray Man falls a massive 11 million hours behind the former and could garner only 88.5 Million hours in the opening week.
Although it could earn 88.5 Million views, this is not so bad per se. It is the 5th highest opening ever on Netflix. As already discussed, Red Notice tops the list followed by Don’t Look Up, The Kissing Booth Season 3, and The Adam Project.
It is a result of losing subscribers and terrible reviews which poured in for the film. Although there are few chances that the film would revamp, The Gray Man is a lesson Netflix must remember for a long time.
