Netflix is starting to create a unique brand of cinema, one which breaks all barriers between nations, continents, and cultures. The Gray man is another multi-cultural affair as our very own Dhanush is set to play a role in this Netflix original film.
The Gray Man has a stellar cast with Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Charlize Theron playing pivotal roles in the film which is directed by the Russo Brothers. Dhanush has certainly made India proud by landing a role in such an esteemed project alongside some of the top names in Hollywood.
Dhanush will be leaving for the USA tonight to begin the shoot for Netflix’s The Gray Man and another portion of the shoot will be scheduled for the UK. Dhanush is having a great run and has several projects already lined up for him such as Karnan and Jagame Thandhiram.
This proves that Dhanush has not only become a Pan-India star with quite a few notable roles in Bollywood too but is slowly on the precipice of becoming a global star and this has to be a proud moment for all Indians.
Netflix has worked on titles that have tried to integrate key elements of the west and the east. The Extraction was another global collaboration that ingrained the best of two booming industries by putting Randeep Hooda, Pankaj Tripathi, and Chris Hemsworth in the same frame.
Dhanush has had to work on a tight schedule as he finished the first schedule of Karthick Naren’s D43 (tentative title) and also finish the dubbing of Karnan so he could keep his commitment to the various projects which only goes to show his dedication towards the field
