The Gray Man: Russo Brothers Entice Indian Viewers With New Tactics!

Earlier today Russo Brothers, the makers of Netflix’s upcoming action thriller flick ‘The Gray Man’, released a new clip of Dhanush from the film and the video has since been doing rounds on the net. But is there some hidden agenda for releasing Dhanush’s exclusive clip from the film now? And why was it down by Russo Brothers rather than Netflix as usual?

In this latest video, Dhanush can be seen single-handedly fighting Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas quite skillfully. The fast paced action sequence between the three stars keeps one hooked as Dhanush tries to get back his knife with which he first attacks Gosling.

The clip as expected has wooed the Indian audience, but seems a little too late and a little too less kinda gesture from the makers of ‘The Gray Man’. Also, it appears to be much of an afterthought, given that Dhanush fans more so the entire Indian audience, were left highly disappointed with the blink and miss glimpse of the ‘Ranjhana’ star in the trailer.

And that’s the reason this latest gesture from Russo Brothers looks like a meek attempt to make up for the mistake they did with the trailer and also entice the large Indian subscriber base that could play a big role in making ‘The Gray Man’ a massive hit for Netflix.

The importance of the Indian audience for Netflix and the film becomes clearer from the fact that Russo Brothers even have a trip planned for India in coming days to promote ‘The Gray Man’ in the country. For this they would need Dhanush’s help and that’s why this latest promotional strategy to allure Netflix users in India has kicked in just days before The Gray Man’s launch on Netflix on July 22.
