‘The Great Escaper’ Might Be The Final Film Of Michael Caine!

Michael Caine has said in a recent interview that his upcoming movie ‘The Great Escaper’ might be his final one.

Michael Caine’s career spans over eight decades and he is known for portraying iconic roles throughout his career. He is a personal favorite of Christopher Nolan and has worked with him many times. He has famously played the role of Alfred Pennyworth in The Batman Trilogy. He also acted in ‘Inception’, ‘Interstellar’, ‘The Prestige’, ‘Dunkirk’ and ‘Tenet’. He has also starred in movies like ‘Now You See Me’, ‘Harry Brown’, ‘Shadow Run’, ‘Quills’ and many more.

Michael Caine’s retirement from films is indeed a great loss for the industry. His contribution to cinema as an art form is beyond comprehension and he will be remembered for his powerful and motivated performances in wonderful films.

His ‘The Great Escaper’ is directed by Olivia Parker and is set to release next month. The movie tells the story of Brendan John, a world war 2 veteran who escapes his nursing home to attend the 70th anniversary of D-Day commemorations in France. Caine says that the movie was quite challenging for him physically and that is why he is considering retirement. He is now o0 years of age.

The Great Escaper was also the last film. Of Glenda Jackson as she died after completing the shooting for the film in June this year. The movie will thus be remembered as the last film of two Great veteran actors of our times.
