After ‘The Continental’ a new TV series is coming from the John Wick universe. And it will not be merely from the same world of crime but a sequel to John Wick 4 itself. The show is in the works at Lionsgate.
The show has been titled ‘John Wick: Under The High Table’ for the time being and no OTT platform has yet been attached to it. Keanu Reeves will executive produce the show himself along with Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. Robert Levine, who is known for his works in ‘The Old Man’ and ‘Black Sails’ will be serving as a writer, showrunner and executive producer.
Chad Stahelski, the director of the original John Wick films, will himself be attached to the project. He will be serving as a producer and also direct the first episode of the show. Fans are pretty excited about the series. John Wick has been one of the most popular and celebrated franchises of Hollywood and the character has acquired a legendary status. The awesome action choreography and world-building has paid off with good business at the box office and now after ‘The Continental’, the makers are ready to shake the OTT business with another John Wick show.
