In another case where art truly has imitated life, a video of an Australian woman crashing her car during a live stream went viral earlier today. Except that it wasn’t real and was part of a web-series titled Content, that premiered on ABC earlier this week.
The clip lasting half a minute was viewed over 8 lakh times on Twitter and has been liked 16,000 times. The video has a pink-haired girl, casually singing before getting into an accident. And all those who had watched the live stream couldn’t believe what they had just seen.
Interestingly, the show revolves around a social-media-crazy girl Lucy who becomes a star once her video of an accident during a live stream goes viral. The response has reportedly surprised the makers too, who were only trying to promote their show innovatively online.
