Cuban American actor Oscar Nunez, who is well known for his role as an accountant in the famous sitcom television series ‘The Office’ (featuring the brilliant Steve Carell), has joined the star-studded cast of ‘The Lost City of D’.
While doing that, Oscar is now part of an ensemble cast of the film, which already includes the likes of Sandra Bullock, Daniel Radcliff, Brad Pitt, and Channing Tatum.
Sandra Bullock, who is also producing this film had previously collaborated with Oscar Nunez in the 2009 romantic comedy film ‘The Proposal’.
Regarding Oscar’s recent casting, Bullock had earlier stated “I feel so blessed to be able to be in his comedic presence again after all these years. His ability to convey deep emotion while performing a lap dance in ‘The Proposal’ was not lost on me.”
The romantic action-comedy film ‘The Lost City of D’ reportedly revolves around the misadventures of a romance novelist (played by Sandra Bullock) and her book cover model (Channing Tatum) after a kidnapping attempt lands them in a jungle, akin to one of her novels.
The film is being helmed by director-duo Aaron and Adam Nee, who had previously directed the 2015 film ‘Band of Robbers’, which was based on the adventures of Tom Sawyer.
Acclaimed actress Sandra Bullock is recognized for playing some fine roles in films such as the 1994 action thriller film ‘Speed’ (co-starring Keanu Reeves), the action-comedy ‘Miss Congeniality’, Alfonso Cuaron’s sci-fi flick ‘Gravity’, and the more recent sci-fi horror film ‘Bird Box’.
Moreover, Bullock had also won an Academy Award for her role in the biographical drama ‘The Blind Side’.
Sharing screen space with Bullock is Channing Tatum, who is known for his roles in films like ‘White House Down, ‘Foxcatcher’ and ‘The Hateful Eight’. However, not much is currently known about what character the recently cast actor Oscar Nunez will essay in the film.
Whereas ‘Harry Porter’ actor Daniel Radcliffe will reportedly be seen playing a negative, villainous character in this film, which is a departure from the usual roles he had enacted in his previous films.
The film is currently targeting a theatrical release on April 15, 2022.
