The Sandman Season 2 Adds New Cast Members, Including “King Joffrey”

The Sandman Season 2 adds plenty of new cast members to its already growing cast. These performers will play popular characters from Neil Gaiman’s prominent DC graphic novel series. One of the most notable additions to the second season’s cast is none other than Jack Gleeson, best known for playing King Joffrey Baratheon in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Gleeson will be playing Puck, a malevolent hobgoblin serving as the royal jester to King Auberon. His flawless portrayal of sadistic King Joffery in GOT is widely considered one of the best portrayals of a villain on television. He perfectly captured the character’s arrogance, insecurity, and pettiness, making him a truly terrifying and unpredictable villain.

Apart from Jack Gleeson, The Sandman Season 2 will have new talents such as Ruairi O’Connor as Orpheus (the only child of Tom Sturridge’s Lord Morpheus, aka Dream), Freddie Fox as Loki (the god of chaos), Clive Russell as Odin (the father of Thor), Laurence O’Fuarain as Thor (the god of thunder and wielder of Mjolnir), Douglas Boothis as Cluracan and Ann Skelly as Nuala (siblings and royal emissaries belonging to the court of Faerie), Steve Coogan as Barnabas (pet to the Endless’ prodigal brother), and Indya Moore as Wanda (a security agent and professional driver working for an exclusive travel company).

Netflix has already announced the actors who are set to portray the remaining members of the Endless: Adrian Lester as Destiny, Esme Creed-Miles as Delirium, and Barry Sloane as Destruction (aka The Prodigal). These talents will join the returning cast members, including Tom Sturridge, Mason Alexander Park, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Patton Oswalt, Jenna Coleman, Donna Preston, Ferdinand Kingsley, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Asim Chaudhary, Stephen Fry, Vivienne Acheampong, Razane Jammal, and Vanesu Samunyai.

The Sandman Season 2 is likely to hit Netflix in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates.
