The Sandman Teaser: Tom Sturridge Returns As ‘Dream’ In Season 2!

The first teaser of the second season of ‘The Sandman’ has now been released. The release date has not been revealed yet, but some new additions to the cast list have been announced.

‘The Sandman’ is adapted from the popular graphic novels by Neil Gaiman that were published by DC comics. The supernatural horror show was developed by Neil Gaiman, David S. Goyer, Allan Heinberg and Heinberg served as the showrunner as well.

The first season had a total of Eleven episodes and it starred actors like Tom Sturridge, Boyd Holbrook, Vivienne Acheampong, Patton Oswalt. The show tells the story of Morpheus, who is the personification of dreams and is one of the seven endless entities alongside Death, Despair and other characters. Morpheus is held captive in an occult Ritual for more than a hundred years and at last, when he frees himself, he tries to fix his realm of dreams. Tom Sturridge plays Morpheus or Dream. The story of Dream’s adventures will continue in the second season and the actors will be reprising their respective roles.

The new season will have some interesting additions. There will be Adrian Lester in the role of Destiny, Esmé Creed Miles as Delirium and Barry Sloane as the Prodigal.

The release date and other details are yet tn be disclosed. Fans are excited and hopefully the trailer will be released soon.
