The Silent Sea Streaming Soon On Netflix! K-Drama Growing Bigger

K-Drama is getting bigger day by day. A few years back it was limited to a niche audience in the non-domestic K-Drama market. But now it’s getting attention from a majority of cinephiles.

The recent mega-popular show called Squid Game is just one example. It established new benchmarks of success that will be tough to bring down.

The recently released Hellbound didn’t become that successful but it attracted an audience nonetheless.

Regardless, the upcoming Korean series called The Silent Sea is going to elevate that perception even more.

This upcoming series is going to be science fiction that will be set on the surface of the moon. Set in a dystopian future where water has finished, the earth becomes nothing but a desert.

Gong Yoo and Bae Doona will be the lead artists in the series.

Gong Yoo was also seen in Squid Game as the salesman of the ultra-violent deadly game.

This series will revolve around a space mission in which a group of people head to the moon. They try to retrieve the samples from a research centre that was situated on the moon. But things go wrong as there are many secrets that are unsettling for the members of the team.

The series will release on 24th December only on Netflix. Indian streaming platforms are already at war on Christmas eve. It will be interesting to see how this show manages to attract an audience.
