Chris ”Owen Grady-Starlord” Pratt is here with a massively extreme adventure. Yes, finally the first look of Pratt starrer The Tomorrow War is here and even when it’s only around 30 seconds long, still it left us wanting more!
The little teaser of The Tomorrow War definitely promises hurt-pumping action. We see fighter jets flying over cities, we see explosions, we see skyscrapers on fire, and we see an army with heavy guns defending mankind. But one thing is clear from the teaser that the enemy Chris Pratt and Co. is fighting against is not human which makes the teaser all the more exciting.
The story of The Tomorrow War reportedly set in 2051 when mankind is on the verge of annihilation after losing a global war against a deadly alien race. The last of the alliance of army and civilian will be fighting the ultimate battle and Dan Forester, played by Chris Pratt, a school teacher is one of them who teams up with a scientist and his own father to save the people of the planet including his daughter.
Apart from Chris Pratt, the film reportedly features Yvonne Strahovski as the scientist Vicky Winslow, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, and Sam Richardson amongst many others. The Tomorrow War is directed by Chris Mackay who earlier directed The Lego Movie and it’s produced by Paramount Pictures in association with Skydance Media and Phantom Four Films.
The Tomorrow War is another one of those big-budget movies which was originally scheduled to release theatrically but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, headed for an OTT release. Amazon Studios acquired the rights of the film and now it’s set to release on 2nd July, 2021 directly on Amazon Prime Videos.
