The Wild Robot Trailer: Estranged Robot Finds Its Way Into Our Hearts

Finally dropping its much awaited trailer, The Wild Robot, gives us a quick glimpse into the soon-to-be-released animated venture that is headed by writer-director Chris Sanders. Even though it is a conception of DreamWorks Animation, the film takes after the famous Peter Brown book. The story revolves around ROZZUM unit 1734, endearingly known as Roz, voiced by the one and only Lupita Nyong’o.

The narrative is centred around Roz, ending up being shipwrecked on a deserted island, and embarking on a beautiful adventure of taking to its complex surroundings that are fascinatingly animated as can be seen in the trailer, creating lifelong connections with the ecosystem around it, and even fostering a lost gosling.

Chris Sanders is well renowned for his work on various animated ventures and it is safe to say that this project has been in great hands. The cast is a noteworthy line-up as well, comprising Pedro Pascal, Mark Hamill, Kit Connor, Catherine O’Hara, Stephanie Hsu and so on, and they guarantee an immersive experience with their voices, definitely.
