These Marvel Shows Might Be Back Earlier Than You Expected

These turbulent times that we are seeing throughout the world affected many large business and cultural sectors. With filming of everything stopped for months now, productions have taken a toll in various aspects. The new and first exclusive ‘Disney+’ Marvel series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” will have 6 episodes directed by Karl Skogland (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Punisher).

Later last week, European Union announced the lifting of the travel ban from select countries and has allowed all production filming to be completed. Last reported, the shoot for this series is set in Czech Republic. Both “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and “Loki” are expected to resume shooting in August.

‘Anthony Mackie’ (Point Blank), ‘Sebastian Stan’ (I, Tonya) will be back as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes respectively. ‘Daniel Brühl’ (Inglourious Basterds, Rush) and ‘Emily Van Camp’ (Revenge, The Resident) will also be back as Baron Zemo and Sharon Carter respectively who haven’t reappeared since “Captain America :Civil War”.

Newcomers to the MCU series include ‘Wyatt Russell’ as John Walker, US Agent, ‘Cle Bennett’, ‘Carl Lumbly’, ‘Desmond Chiam’, ‘Miki Ishikawa’, ‘Adepero Oduye’, and ‘Erin Kellyman’ in unannounced roles. ‘John Wick’ creator ‘Derek Kolstad’ is joining the writing team for “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”.
