This 92% Rated Mustwatch Comedy Series Is Now Streaming In India

After a long time of being unavailable to watch on Indian OTT, comedy series ‘Loudermilk’ is finally streaming in India. And all because SonyLIV owns the distribution rights of the series, and has been generous enough to bring it on its OTT platform for the viewing pleasure of Indian audiences. Yes, all three seasons of ‘Loudermilk’ are now streaming on SonyLIV in India.

‘Loudermilk’ is a comedy drama that ran for three seasons (from 2017-2020) on the broadcast TV channel AT&T Audience Network in the USA, before Audience wound up operations. The series was picked up for streaming by Prime Video in the USA, but never made it to Prime Video India. SonyLIV had bought distribution rights for ‘Loudermilk’ in the rest of the regions, including in India, and we couldn’t be happier.

The series centres on Sam Loudermilk (Ron Livingston), a rude, loud-mouthed, acid-tongued recovering alcoholic, who doesn’t think twice before doling out rude, audaciously critical comments to all and sundry, strangers included. The notoriously ill-tempered man manages to offend everyone he meets. He works as a substance abuse and drinking counselor, and the only people he’s slightly nicer to are his long-suffering best friend Ben Burns (Will Sasso), and his unplanned roommate, the young Claire Wilkes (Anja Savcic).

The series comes from the Farrelly Brothers, Peter and Bobby, who’ve earlier written and directed quirky comedy films such as Dumb and Dumber, Shallow Hal, Me, Myself and Irene and There’s Something About Mary. ‘Loudermilk’ received wide appreciation from audiences and critics, when it first released on US TV. The series is rated a remarkable 92% on reviews-aggregating portal, Rotten Tomatoes.

Each season of ‘Loudermilk’ consists of ten episodes, making it thirty episodes in all, across three seasons of the show. ‘Loudermilk’ is now streaming on SonyLIV in India. Have a look at the trailer of the series –
