‘Dada’ is the directorial debut of Ganesh K. Babu and stars Kavin and Aparna Das in the lead role, with K. Bhagyaraj, Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles.
‘Dada’ follows the story of Manikandan and Sindhu, two college lovers who face an unexpected pregnancy. Amidst Manikandan’s drinking problem, their relationship crumbles. But Manikandan’s life changes forever when Sindhu vanishes after giving birth, leaving the baby behind.
The film is very well written and offers a good mix of comedy, emotion and love. ‘Dada’ is a heartwarming and wholesome film that explores themes of single parenthood and fractured relationships in a very adorable manner.
