This Charlie Cox’s Fantasy Gem Is Now Streaming On Prime Video

In the English village of Wall, young Tristan Thorn (Charlie Cox) vows to retrieve a fallen star for his beloved Victoria. His quest takes him to the magical realm of Stormhold, where he discovers the star is a beautiful woman named Yvaine (Claire Danes). 

They’re pursued by the power-hungry Prince Septimus (Mark Strong) and the witch Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer), both seeking the star’s immortality. Tristan and Yvaine’s journey becomes a whimsical adventure of love, magic, and self-discovery, encountering pirates and other fantastical beings along the way.

The chemistry between Charlie Cox and Claire Danes certainly benefits Stardust. The duo looks good on screen. Moreover, veterans Mark Strong, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro do justice with their roles. Their performances hold the movie together. Each actor brings their character to life with charm and charisma. 

The film is visually stunning, with beautiful cinematography, impressive special effects, and elaborate costumes. The production design looks amazing. While it does have some serious moments, it also has a wonderful sense of humour and knows when to be lighthearted.
