We are talking about the mockumentary comedy horror series ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ created by Jemaine Clement. The show is based on the critically acclaimed film of the same name written by Clement and Taika Waititi.
Set in Staten Island, New York City, ‘What We Do in the Shaodws’ follows the lives of three traditional vampires, Nandor, Laszlo, and Nadja; Colin Robinson, an energy vampire; and Guillermo, Nandor’s familiar. The series revolves around the vampires interacting with the modern world and other supernatural beings.
Starring Kayvan Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén and Mark Proksch. The show is absolutely hilarious in the portrayal of vampires trying to fit in the modern New York City. It’s profane, goofy and a delight to watch.
‘What We Do in the Shadows’ has four seasons currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The fifth season will premiere in July this year with sixth season already announced. The show is critically acclaimed for its cast and writing and has received multiple Emmy Award nominations.
