The film spanning about sixty years narrates the story starting from the Cold War until the present day.

‘The Pigeon Tunnel’ has been received quite well by the critics. It has got a highly impressive critics’ score of 96% and is ‘Certified Fresh’ on reviews aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 8/10. The film has a runtime of around one and a half hours.
