Last year a unique comedy dropped on Zee5 called “Virgin Bhasskar”. The show was clearly ambitious and quite funny, but it couldn’t match its own pace and in the end, it couldn’t reach the level of viewership it should have reached. But it was still good enough to be green lit for a second season.
The story of the first season of “Virgin Bhasskar” follows a shy young man named Bhaskar (portrayed by Anant Joshi), who is a virgin. He meets the extroverted and beautiful Vidhi (portrayed by Rutpanna Aishwarya) and they hit it off almost immediately. Their budding relationship comes to a halt when she finds out that he is a virgin and writes porn novels. They navigate some rough waters to work through their relationship. And in the end, all seemed well. Until the new teaser dropped.
The second season teaser is only 1 minute long and we only get to see one of our main protagonists but it still promises to be dramatically funny. The teaser starts off with Vidhi talking to an astrologer regarding the fate of her and Bhaskar. She gets a shock when she finds out there is someone coming to break up their relationship, someone whose name stats with ‘P’.
“Meri Hanikarak Biwi”’s Jiya Shankar is a new addition to the cast of “Virgin Bhasskar”. She is said to be playing the role of Pakhi and this could be the person that the astrologer was talking about.
“Virgin Bhasskar” Season 2 will premier on Zee5 on Saturday, 29th August 2020.
