It’s the weekend folks and, like always, we are back again with another binge-watch recommendation for all our readers. Today, we suggest you watch a recently released series called ‘One Day’, which is streaming in India on the Netflix OTT platform. Previously, in 2011, a film, also titled ‘One Day’ starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess was also made on the same subject and the same source material.
Based on David Nicholls’ novel of the same name, the British romantic comedy series revolves around the love story of its two lead characters Emma (Ambika Mod) and Dexter (Leo Woodall) and how it transforms over a period of two decades (from 1988 to 2007). The story is about how these two lead characters spend their graduation night together but take different paths thereafter. But fate has different plans for them as their lives remain connected to each other over all these years.
Narrated over fourteen episodes, ‘One Day’ series currently holds an impressive critics’ score of 90% on reviews aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes.
